Our Massachusetts medical and recreational dispensaries are focused on small batches and unique genetics. We strive to develop a premium range of flower, concentrates, and infused products for consumers interested in finding a best-in-class Massachusetts dispensary. Throughout our work, we remain committed to expanding the science of cannabis and to work together to further improve your marijuana experience.
As a Massachusetts dispensary, we have a deep passion for cannabis and the role it plays in improving people’s lives. Here at Theory, we cultivate cannabis outdoors in Sheffield, indoors in Bridgewater, and produce a wide variety of extracts and infused products at our Bridgewater facility.
We opened our Bridgewater medical cannabis dispensary in 2017, our Great Barrington medical cannabis dispensary in 2017, and our Chicopee medical cannabis dispensary in 2020.
We offer delivery to residential locations within the state of Massachusetts only.
In order to buy cannabis from a Massachusetts dispensary, you need to be at least 21 years old with a valid state or federal ID. You’ll be asked to provide an ID when you visit a Massachusetts dispensary, so don’t forget it at home. If you’re under the age of 21 and have a qualifying condition, you may be able to obtain a Massachusetts medical marijuana card to purchase cannabis at the age of 18.
According to Massachusetts law, dispensaries are only allowed to sell you up to an ounce of cannabis flower or up to five ounces of concentrate at a time. As for cannabis edibles or drinks, you can purchase up to 20 servings at a time for up to 100 mg of THC (serving size of 5 mg).
In Massachusetts, dispensaries limit what consumers can legally buy in one visit – up to one ounce of flower for recreational cannabis customers. At home, you can actually possess up to 10 ounces of cannabis, locked up securely to ensure minors don’t have access at any time. You also can’t smoke or be in public with an open container of marijuana, so keep your cannabis packed away and out of view.
If you’re not a resident of Massachusetts, dispensaries will still sell you cannabis as long as you’re over the age of 21 and have a valid ID. You can’t cross state lines or bring marijuana back to your home state due to the federal laws forbidding the cross-state transportation of marijuana. This is the case even if your home state also allows recreational cannabis.
