Flower refers to cannabinoid-rich, unfertilized buds that are found on female marijuana plants. These flowers are trimmed throughout the stage of the plant and flavor, effects and potency differ by strains. Flowers can be consumed in a variety of ways including rolled into joints, smoked through bowls or bongs and through vaporizers.
Concentrates are potent cannabis products that are made by extracting cannabinoids through the refining of flower. The term is used to refer to products such as kief, hash, wax, oils and shatter. These products are more potent then flower. These are often sold in cartridges to be vaporized, in oil tincture and infused in honey.
Edibles are products that serve as a vehicle to consumer cannabis in contrast to smoking or vaping flower or concentrates. Commonly found edibles are brownies, chocolate bars, cookies, candies, gummies and more. The result of consuming edibles is generally an elongated and sometimes intense high.
