Since there is limited information on the side effects of cannabis, some patients may experience negative side effects such as dry mouth, dizziness, paranoia, forgetfulness, and slowed reaction time. While some patients use cannabis to treat anxiety, cannabis (specifically THC) may cause anxiety in others. If you are experiencing anxiety while using cannabis, we recommend trying a product that is lower in THC and higher in CBD. Talk to one of our patient service advocates about what options work best for you.
